The Calgary Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Pine Creek area of the southwest city. The body was found Tuesday evening near a vehicle at the intersection of 9th Street and 8th Street. Police responded at around 10:30 PM and called in the homicide unit to assist with the investigation.
According to authorities, no additional details have been disclosed thus far, but they described the incident as a “suspicious death,” and police continue to work to determine the circumstances.
Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Calgary Police or the local Crime Stoppers center.
Calgary Police also found a body inside a residence around 2:40 AM in the 0-100 block of Creek Stone Drive SW.
Police announced that the investigation is still in its early stages and no further details about the circumstances of the incident or the identity of the victim have been disclosed at this time.
