A 29-year-old woman was seriously injured in her right leg after being attacked by a shark in Sydney Harbour, Australia, according to local media today Tuesday.
The attack occurred yesterday Monday, at sunset off Elizabeth Bay, a well-known bay not far from the city center and the Sydney Opera House.
According to reports, the victim was swimming off a jetty next to a protected swimming area when the shark attacked her.
Australian media, including the Australian Associated Press (AAP), reported that eyewitnesses and experts believe that a bull shark was the one that attacked the woman.
