Toronto police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man and fled the scene.

Toronto police announced the intensification of investigations into a stabbing incident in Scarborough that left a man seriously injured yesterday afternoon, Saturday.

The police and paramedics responded to the incident in the area of Galloway Road, Lawrence Avenue East shortly after 1:30 PM.

When they arrived, officers found a man in his thirties who had been stabbed, and police said he was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, officers are searching for the suspect who fled the scene in a blue sedan.
