The official spokesperson for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rdeineh, warned of the dangerous repercussions of the provocations from the incursions of terrorist settlers into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, holding the occupying government responsible for these practices and their danger in provoking the feelings of our people, Arabs, and Muslims.

According to what was published by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa," Abu Rdeineh called on the American administration to intervene immediately to force the occupying government to stop these provocations against sacred religious sites, maintain the historical and legal status in the city of Jerusalem, and stop the aggression against the people of the Gaza Strip and the assaults in the West Bank if it wants to prevent an explosion in the region that cannot be controlled.

He pointed out that these provocations come within the framework of the comprehensive war waged by the extreme occupying government against the people of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, stressing that peace and security in the entire region will not be achieved without a just solution to the issue and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, with its Islamic and Christian holy sites.

Hundreds of settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque this Tuesday morning, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

The Islamic Endowments Department at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque stated that around 1,200 settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the early hours of the day.

It reported that the settlers defiled the courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in an unprecedented scene of incursions, raising the Israeli flag in its courtyards, as thousands of settlers are expected to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque throughout the day during the morning and evening incursion periods.

The Endowments added that the occupation forces obstructed the entry of worshippers into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and deployed large forces at its gates to facilitate the incursions of the settlers.

The occupation police transformed the Old City of occupied Jerusalem into a military barracks, deploying hundreds of its personnel at close distances, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, tightening its military procedures at its gates and the gates of the Old City, and imposing restrictions on the entry of worshippers.

These incursions come after calls from extremist settlers for a wide storming of Al-Aqsa, in commemoration of what is known as the alleged "destruction of the temple."

Yesterday, 411 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with protection from the Israeli occupation police, while 370 settlers stormed it on Sunday.
