Coinciding with the press conference held by the media relations official of "Hezbollah," Mohammad Afeef, in the Ghobayri area in the southern suburb of Beirut this Tuesday afternoon, the Israeli army issued an urgent alert to evacuate two buildings in the same area, prompting Afeef to hastily conclude his conference, and Israeli airstrikes quickly followed in the area.
The official Lebanese news agency reported that Israeli aircraft targeted Ghobayri with at least three airstrikes. The Israeli aircraft also targeted a building in the vicinity of the Tayouneh area in Beirut and completely destroyed it, while footage of its collapse circulated.
Meanwhile, Afeef stated that "Hezbollah" would not engage in negotiations while fighting continues, and acknowledged the presence of "prisoners" from its members in Israel, without specifying their number, holding it responsible for "preserving their lives and health."
Regarding the targeting of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's house days ago, Afeef announced the party's "full, complete, and exclusive responsibility for the Qaisariya operation."
In the early hours of this morning, after a night of intensive Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut and the Bekaa Valley, "Hezbollah" claimed it launched rockets at the Galilout base used by Unit 8200 of the Israeli military intelligence, and the Nirith area in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, as well as a naval base outside the coastal city of Haifa, which is further north.
Today, the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that at least 13 people were killed and 57 injured in an Israeli bombing around the "Hariri" hospital, the main public hospital in Beirut. The ministry added that the bombing caused significant damage to the hospital.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel today, where he is holding talks in another attempt to reach a ceasefire.
