Two weeks after the siege and heavy shelling on the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, Israeli forces stormed the Kamal Adwan Hospital today, Friday, the last functioning hospital in the area. They forced the medical and emergency staff to evacuate it and removed all patients, leaving their fate unknown.

The forces also arrested dozens of citizens inside the hospital, forcing them to strip off their clothes, and gathered them in a large courtyard near the hospital, without revealing their fate so far.

The past days have witnessed repeated scenes of arrests, in addition to the displacement of thousands from the area amid strict restrictions on the entry of food aid and continuous Israeli calls for residents to leave their homes again.

Since the start of the Israeli attack on October 6, the civil defense in Gaza has reported the martyrdom of about 800 people within a few days. International warnings have increased regarding attempts to evacuate northern Gaza of its residents through "starvation and siege." The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) also confirmed that 20,000 Palestinians were forced to flee from the Jabalia camp, including those who sought refuge in UNRWA centers.
