The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed, on Tuesday, its condemnation "in the strongest terms of the brazen and repeated incursions" into Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to a statement from the ministry on the "X" platform, on Tuesday.

The statement indicated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation in the strongest terms for the "brazen and repeated incursions" by Israeli officials and a number of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry emphasized the importance of respecting religious sanctities and renewed the Kingdom's warning about "the repercussions of continuing these violations of international law and the historical status of the city of Jerusalem, and provoking millions of Muslims around the world," especially in light of the humanitarian disaster that the Palestinians are experiencing in the Gaza Strip.

The statement called on the international community to "fulfill its responsibility to stop the ongoing Israeli violations of international law and the relevant international legitimacy decisions."

Media outlets reported the incursion of about 1200 Jews into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, coinciding with the Jewish observance of the "Day of the Destruction of the Temple."

The far-right Israeli National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, who participated in the incursion, argued that Jews should be allowed to pray at Al-Aqsa Mosque, which posed a new challenge to the established rules at one of the most sensitive sites in the Middle East.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly denied any change in the rules that prohibit Jews from praying at the site, which is also sacred to Jews, and reprimanded Ben Gvir.

Netanyahu's office stated, "There is no special policy for any minister regarding the Temple Mount, neither the National Security Minister nor any other minister."
