Israelis expressed their concerns on Saturday in Tel Aviv just hours after Israel launched strikes on Iran, while others expressed their confidence in the military.
On Saturday morning, Israelis went for a stroll near the beaches of Tel Aviv, which were filled with visitors, while others played beach volleyball.
Yaniv Hain, who sat on the beach, said: "It's hard to predict what will happen in the future. We are generally worried, but nothing more than that."
The 42-year-old man added, "There is chaos right now, that is the situation, and nothing that happens would surprise me, but I refuse to live in fear."
The Israeli military announced on Saturday morning that it had carried out "accurate and targeted" strikes on missile manufacturing sites and other air capabilities in Iran in response to the attack launched by Tehran earlier this month, threatening the Islamic Republic with paying a "heavy price" if it decides to retaliate.
Sagi Kwaz expressed his support for the Israeli strikes that were a response to the Iranian attack.
Kwaz, 55, said: "I think we did what we were supposed to do, and it was fair and good."
The man, who wore a sports shirt in the colors of the Israeli flag, added: "We should fear nothing, we have a good army, and we will respond well to any attack thereafter."
"Things will move forward"
He added that the war between Ukraine and Russia has been ongoing for nearly three years, and the war led by the military in the Gaza Strip against the Palestinian "Hamas," an ally of Iran, since October 7, 2023, "could also last a very long time."
Israel Cohen believes that the cycle of attack and counterattack between Iran and the Jewish state, which has been ongoing since April, will continue.
He added: "Based on their (Iranian) recent response, I believe yes, there will be a response, but I hope that won't happen, and I'm sure they won't dare to do anything that would harm Israel."
In contrast, others considered that the wave of escalation has ended for the time being.
Yossi Yaish, 65, from Tel Aviv said, "This will not continue. The response was proportional, and things will move forward."
Yaish explained that his routine life continues despite the targeting of Iran.
He added: "We heard about the attack in the morning and continued as usual. We do our bike ride every Saturday."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement: "Iran considers it its right and duty to defend itself against foreign aggressive actions."
