A new opinion poll conducted by Nanos Research for CTV and The Globe and Mail shows that the Canadian Liberal Party is leading by 6 percentage points over the Conservative Party as the election race enters its final week.

According to national voting intention results, the percentages are as follows:

Liberal Party: 43.2%

Conservative Party: 37.0%

New Democratic Party (NDP): 10.5%

Bloc Québécois: 5.8%

Green Party: 2.7%

People's Party of Canada (PPC): 0.1%

These figures reflect a relative stability in public support for the Liberals in recent days, while a slight decline in support for the Conservatives indicates that the electoral battle is becoming more complicated, especially in several swing ridings.

This 6-point margin is less than the gap recorded by the Liberals in the middle of the campaign, but it still gives them a relatively comfortable position if it persists until voting day.

The coming days are seen as crucial, especially with the escalation of direct confrontations between Liberal leader Mark Carney and Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre over key issues such as taxes, immigration, crime, and the trade war with the United States.

Early voter turnout has also increased, as Elections Canada announced a new record on the first day of early voting, which may affect the final election outcomes, especially in swing ridings.

All eyes remain on the results of the final days of the campaign, especially in Quebec and Ontario, where the competition will be critical in shaping the next parliament.
