The Saudi authorities have allowed holders of tourism, business, personal, and family visas to travel to both Jeddah and Medina in Saudi Arabia until June 28, corresponding to the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1444.
The Saudi authorities stated in the latest directive on the requirements governing the current Hajj season 1444 / 2023, issued today and directed to airlines, to allow the acceptance of travel for passengers holding "tourism, family, business, and personal" visas to both "Jeddah and Medina" in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, provided that the ihram clothing is not worn and the barcode and Ministry of Tourism instructions are adhered to, during the period from May 30, corresponding to the 10th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1444, until June 28, corresponding to the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1444.
The conditions included not allowing the acceptance of travel for passengers holding only "commercial visas" from Muslims to both Jeddah and Medina in Saudi Arabia during the same period starting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, until June 28, 2023.
On its part, the Saudi authorities set the last date for accepting travel for passengers holding Umrah visas at Saudi airports as June 4, with the last day of departure from Saudi Arabia for Umrah visa holders being June 18, 2023.
The Saudi authorities emphasized that the Umrah visa is not valid for performing Hajj rituals and the necessity of confirming the return date with airline tickets.
On its part, EgyptAir announced the start date of the air bridge to transport pilgrims of the House of Allah from the seasonal flights building to Medina and Jeddah, starting from June 10, 2023, until June 23, 2023, with return flights to the homeland beginning from July 1, 2023, until July 13, 2023.
