The Canadian Ministry of Health announced the recall of a number of children’s beds, likely ten children's beds in Canada; which have been found to pose a risk to the safety of infants, specifically the Balka, Yodi, and Dylan beds.
And the manufacturer South Shore Furniture Ltd. has indicated a risk to the child, as the gap between the slats of the crib is too wide, creating a space for the child, thus posing a risk of the child getting stuck between the crib’s slats.
The Canadian Ministry of Health had issued instructions to recall 16 cribs.
They can be identified by the serial numbers online.
The Ministry of Health has urged affected individuals to immediately stop using the children's cribs and contact the manufacturer for refunds.
The Canadian Ministry of Health also added that no injuries have been reported regarding the children's beds in Canada.
It is worth noting that for more information, consumers should contact South Shore Furniture Ltd. by phone, as refunds can be requested via email.
