After the assassination of the head of Hamas' political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in Iran, the spiritual leader Ayatollah Khamenei vowed to take revenge on Israel for his killing.

In this context, Middle East and Iran expert, Mais Qurbanov, provides an analysis of the situation and expectations:

The American warships are approaching the Middle East, and America, Britain, and NATO do not hide their readiness to support Israel. In the event of fighting, experts wonder who could become an ally for Iran.

Russia, China, and North Korea are closely monitoring the situation, as they realize that if Iran loses the confrontation, their turn may come, and of course, these countries will not remain idle but will act.

If Iran is attacked, it is expected that Russia, China, and North Korea would directly defend it, hence the question arises about the importance of blocs like BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization if there is no solidarity in difficult times.

Cuba and Venezuela are also expected to join Iran, as joint coordination is required to face the crisis.

Will Ankara enter into a military alliance with Iran?
As for Turkey, its relationship with Iran has shifted from alliance to competition. However, strategic cooperation may emerge between them when needed.

Iran and its allies are not seeking war, as Iran's main enemy is America, not Israel. To confront or defeat America, Iran needs time, military strength, advanced air defense, and an effective air force.

Iran needs to take advantage of the time and not respond to provocations.
