Health Canada has announced the recall of several marijuana oils and capsules; they contain unexpected amounts of THC and HHC.

Health Canada stated that both components are intoxicating and may pose a risk to consumers.

The affected products include Emprise CBN + CBD Softgels, NuLeaf Naturals Full Spectrum Hemp Multicannabinoid Oil and Oil Softgels, and Ultra Plus Multicannabinoid Oil and Softgels.

It is worth noting that the products were sold to consumers by authorized retailers in British Columbia, Alberta

Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Yukon between December 2022 and July 2024.

The products were also sold to medical clinics through Rosebud Productions Inc, Open Fields Winnipeg, Open Fields Saskatchewan, and Medicibis in Quebec.

Health Canada advises consumers to promptly refrain from consuming the products and to dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase.
