Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that there are several signs indicating that work and preparation are underway for a large-scale armed conflict imminent in various parts of the world.
According to what was published by the "Novosti" agency, the Serbian president enumerated the signs, including the anticipated confrontation between Hezbollah and Israel in the Middle East, and the selection of former Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, known for her anti-Russian stance, to hold the presidency of EU diplomacy, as well as the arms purchases by Western and Eastern countries.
The President of Serbia announced in a television interview today that it is almost impossible to avoid a large-scale armed clash between Lebanese Hezbollah and Israel, which would lead to a major conflict "that will involve the entire West and East," and that everyone is preparing for.
He added: "There is no grand philosophy here; these are clear and precise things without ambiguity. When we talk about what is happening in Europe, we find a European Commission that will be fundamentally opposed to Russia."
He pointed out that the European Union, by choosing Kallas to be responsible for the EU's foreign policy, "sent a clear signal of determination and strength and resistance to Russian aggression," as he expressed.
He noted that Moscow will respond by confirming its readiness to fight to the end with all available forces and weapons, saying: "I know the situation regarding arms, and I receive information from the military intelligence agency and the security and information agency and all sister intelligence agencies, and how each side is preparing and what is happening in reality."
The Serbian president recalled a saying from one of Chekhov's narratives: "If there is a gun hanging on the wall in the first act of the play, it is certain to go off in the last act."
