Israeli channel "Kan" reported that former U.S. President Donald Trump said he would provide Israel with the support it needs to win, stressing: "But I want them to win quickly."
Earlier today, Channel 12 reported Trump as saying that "Israel's area looks small on the map, and I've always thought about how it could be expanded."
Previously, Trump stated that he did not encourage Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to a ceasefire in Gaza during their meeting last month.
He added in a press conference at his home in Bedminster, New Jersey, that he last spoke with Netanyahu during their meeting, and continued that he told Netanyahu "to achieve his victory and end this matter," according to U.S. network "CNN."
Trump mentioned when asked if he was encouraging Netanyahu to agree to a ceasefire: "No, I did not encourage him, he knows what he is doing. I encouraged him to end this matter; if you want to end it, it should end quickly, but win, and end the matter and the killing must stop."
Trump has long been a strong supporter of Israel and Netanyahu, and has increased his communication with Jewish voters in recent days by promoting his support for the Jewish state.
