The Ontario police released video footage of an armed break-in at a home in Markham, Ontario. Officers responded to a house near Steeles Avenue and Henderson Avenues East at around 4 PM on April 12 due to the home invasion.

In the minute-long video shared by the police, two male suspects are seen, one dressed entirely in dark clothing and the other in a white jacket and dark pants, carrying what appears to be a gun, inside the home.

The footage also shows the dark-clothed suspect placing a large bag near the front door before going to another part of the house.

At the same time, the other suspect is seen taking a few steps into the kitchen area, extracting a gun from the front of his pants, and then walking into the living room with the firearm in his right hand heading to another part of the house.

Moments later, the two suspects are seen again near the front door area of the house.

The suspect in the white jacket was observed placing the firearm in the front of his pants before they exited the home.

The York Regional Police (YRP) stated in a news release that a woman reported two armed men had broken into her home and threatened to kill her while demanding money. The victim was not physically harmed during the ordeal.

The police also mentioned that the suspects fled the scene in a white SUV, later found to be stolen earlier that day from Orillia.

The stolen vehicle was located with the assistance of a police helicopter and members of the Toronto Police Service (TPS).

The suspects were arrested at a shopping mall in Toronto and were subsequently detained.

The police charged 18-year-old Willie Gabriel, who does not have a permanent address, and 24-year-old Andrew Parsons, a Toronto resident, with robbery using a firearm and disguisement with intent, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and causing harm over $5000.

Authorities stated that Parsons was under two release orders at the time of the crime and was also wanted by Toronto police.
