A small plane crashed in the coal port in Vancouver on Saturday afternoon, according to eyewitnesses.
A video from the scene shows several boats surrounding a pile of wreckage at the entrance to Burrard off Stanley Park.
Abigail Turner from CTV News Vancouver was in Stanley Park at the time of the incident and saw the plane hit the water.
She said she saw two people standing on the wing of the plane after the crash, while the plane sank in the harbor. Several nearby boats gathered at the scene, while first responders assembled on the ground.
Karen Fry, Chief of Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, posted on social media just after one o'clock, stating that firefighters and police were responding to a "marine incident."
