Montreal residents will have many opportunities this year to enjoy the fireworks shows that will dominate the Old Port sky as part of the 37th edition of the International Fireworks Competition, with each week’s show expected to include different themes and events.
The fireworks displays can be enjoyed at the following locations at 10:00 PM every Saturday until August 10, 2023:
Old Port :
Old Montreal offers an impressive show, where the fireworks are displayed directly over the Saint Lawrence River, and visitors can sit at any of the restaurants, bars, or cafés in the Old Port and admire the fireworks.

︎ Time: Open all day.
Village au Pied-du-Courant :
Located on the waterfront, it provides a stunning view of the Jacques Cartier Bridge and part of the Saint Lawrence River, and visitors can enjoy food trucks, bar stalls, and the art exhibition while fireworks light up the night sky directly above them.
︎ Where: 2100 Rue Notre-Dame East
︎ When: 3:00 PM – Midnight.
Jacques Cartier Bridge :
A popular local destination with a great view of the fireworks, the bridge closes to vehicle traffic from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM, inviting visitors to the most beautiful shows on a global level.

La Ronde :
La Ronde provides seating on the waterfront and food and drinks at the small La Ronde bar, where you can watch the fireworks from the launch platform across the water while enjoying great local music.
︎ Location: 22 Chemin Macdonald.
︎ Time: 11 AM – 11:30 PM.
Mont Royal Belvédère Kondiaronk Park :
A suitable place for a walk with a long view of the fireworks, and additionally, you can see the whole city illuminated especially in great weather.
