The newspaper "Times of Israel" quoted an Israeli security official as saying that several hospitals in the northern part of the Gaza Strip have not been evacuated yet despite calls from the Israeli army to move south.
The official added, "In northern Gaza Strip, there are about 20 hospitals, so far six of them have been evacuated, 10 have not been evacuated yet, and four refuse to evacuate."
He confirmed that it is difficult for some hospitals to transfer the injured and critically ill patients, but the army has a "direct relationship with almost all hospital directors and we encourage them to evacuate."
The Israeli official accused Hamas of using some hospitals as shelters, "because they know this is a sensitive site and we will avoid attacking it."
