EgyptAir Company announced, in a statement on Saturday, that its flight number MS829 with a B737-800 aircraft which was headed from Cairo International Airport to Benina International Airport in Benghazi, Libya, carrying 111 passengers.
The company stated in a statement on Saturday evening that the plane changed its course and landed at Athens International Airport due to the bad weather conditions at Benina International Airport and the lack of visibility level because of dust and difficulty landing at the airport, so the flight route was changed to the planned alternative airport, which is Athens International Airport.
