The Lebanese Hezbollah party announced today, Saturday, targeting the Israeli Miron air surveillance base with 62 missiles as an initial response to the assassination of the Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri.

Hezbollah said in a press statement reported by the Lebanese "National News Agency": "The Miron air surveillance base is located on the summit of Mount Hermon in northern occupied Palestine and it is the highest mountain peak in occupied Palestine. Miron base is considered the center for administration, monitoring, and the only air control in the northern part of the usurping entity with no primary alternative, and it is one of two main bases across the entire usurping entity, with Miron in the north and Metzabei Ramon in the south."

The party added: "The fighters of the Islamic resistance this morning, as part of the initial response to the crime of assassinating the great leader Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri and his martyred brothers in the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeted the Miron air surveillance base with 62 missiles of various types, causing direct and confirmed hits."

The Hamas movement announced the assassination of its deputy head of the political bureau, Saleh Al-Arouri, on Tuesday evening last week in an Israeli targeting in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
