Hebrew media reported last night, Friday, that there were difficult incidents against the Israeli army forces in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death and injury of several Israeli soldiers.
Israeli media revealed that a booby-trapped building collapsed on the soldiers, and two booby-trapped tunnels exploded while several army forces were inside them.
The "Al-Qassam Brigades," the military wing of Hamas, stated that its elements managed to target an Israeli force holed up inside a house in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City with a "TBG" vacuum shell, causing casualties among them.
The brigades mentioned that their elements observed the Israeli helicopter airlifting them.
For its part, the "Saraya al-Quds," the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced that it had eliminated an Israeli force that was lured inside a building with a tunnel opening that had been rigged with several high-explosive devices, and the house had been booby-trapped with an "F-16" aircraft missile fired by the Israeli air force at unarmed civilians, which did not explode.
It pointed out that Saraya's engineers worked to reuse, activate, and detonate it against the Israeli forces in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood.
Furthermore, the "Al-Qassam Brigades" indicated that they targeted an Israeli tank of the "Merkava" type with a "Yasin 105" shell near the Japanese garden intersection south of the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah City.
They also stated that their elements are engaged in fierce clashes at zero distance with Israeli forces infiltrating the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, confirming that they caused deaths and injuries among them.
The "Al-Qassam Brigades" also reported that they targeted a troop carrier with a "Yasin 105" shell in the Brazil neighborhood east of Rafah City in southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the military wing of Hamas announced on Friday the elimination of Israeli army sergeant Eyal Shainz in the vicinity of the Al-Shabeely Mosque east of Rafah City at the southernmost point of the Gaza Strip.
The "Al-Qassam Brigades" stated that sergeant Eyal Shainz was shot and killed in the vicinity of the Al-Shabeely Mosque.
