The Palestinian Hamas movement said that the massacre of the followers in the Al-Daraj neighborhood is a continuation of the Zionist Nazi genocide against the Palestinian people, noting that the U.S. administration is complicit in these crimes.

The movement added, in a statement, that the massacre at the followers' school in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in the center of Gaza City is a horrific crime that constitutes a dangerous escalation in the series of unprecedented crimes and massacres in the history of wars, which are being committed in the Gaza Strip by the new Nazis.

It continued that "this horrific massacre perpetrated by the Nazi occupation army, which targeted a school crowded with displaced people during the dawn prayer against defenseless civilians, resulted in the deaths of more than 100 martyrs and dozens of injured innocent unarmed civilians, whose dismembered bodies lie charred; this is a clear confirmation from the Zionist government of its continuation in the genocide against our Palestinian people, through the repeated and systematic targeting of unarmed civilians in displacement centers and residential neighborhoods, and committing the most heinous crimes against them."

It pointed out that the occupying army invents excuses to target civilians, schools, hospitals, and the tents of the displaced, all of which are flimsy excuses and transparent lies to justify its crimes.

The Hamas movement confirmed that the escalation of Zionist crimes and the widespread violations against unarmed civilians in all areas of the Gaza Strip would not have continued if it were not for the direct American support for the extremist Zionist government and its terrorist army, through covering up its crimes and providing it with all forms of political and military support, which makes it a fully complicit partner in these acts.

The movement called on Arab and Islamic countries and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities and take urgent action to stop these massacres and halt the escalating Zionist aggression against the defenseless Palestinian people.
