A fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi today, Monday, where rescue efforts are now underway to extinguish the fire.
The Pakistani channel "Geo" reported officials saying that the fire resulting from an electrical short circuit is currently being addressed.
Officials from the fire brigade stated that the fire is expected to be extinguished soon as its intensity has decreased.
While trading at the stock exchange has been suspended, the building has now been reopened to the public after having been evacuated earlier.
