Ontario is witnessing an unusual rise in warm temperatures by the end of this weekend, which is more common in summer than in spring.

The weather network stated after the frost warning ended today, Friday: temperatures will then begin to rise by the end of the week.

Tomorrow, Saturday, warmer weather is expected, but there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms. Ontario may see its warmest day of the year so far on Sunday, although with a chance of rain.

Toronto is likely to record 21 degrees Celsius, higher than the 20.6 degrees Celsius recorded on March 13.

Temperatures in Windsor are expected to reach 26 degrees Celsius, after hitting 26.1 degrees Celsius on April 14.

The network also indicates that humidity will be a factor, as residents in some areas including Windsor and Hamilton may feel like it's 30 degrees Celsius on Sunday afternoon.

According to forecasts, temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal averages for the rest of the month and the beginning of May.
