Meteorologists in Canada confirmed that temperatures are expected to rise today, Sunday, to 22 degrees in the GTA, which is a significant jump from the overnight low of only 11 degrees.
The clear skies later this morning will lead to increasing clouds in the evening, with a 60 percent chance of more nighttime rain in Mississauga, Brampton, and the Halton region.
Forecasters also confirmed that wind speeds will reach 20 km/h, with a risk of nighttime thunderstorms and a drop to 15 degrees Celsius.
The high today, Sunday, will be warmer at 23 degrees Celsius on the other side of Toronto in the Durham region.
The increasing clouds after midnight and the risk of thunderstorms during the night will remain in the western half of the GTA.
