Air Canada confirmed the cancellation of a flight to Montreal from Casablanca, Morocco on Friday after an incident between a flight attendant and a passenger.
A video of the incident circulating on social media shows a flight attendant shouting at a passenger who reportedly requested a blanket.
The attendant can be heard saying, "You will behave or we will deplane!" Then she says, "I will inform the captain immediately. Yes or no?"
When a passenger asks her to call the captain, she refuses. The attendant later says, "I do not want any bullying against my crew."
In a statement to CTV News, Air Canada said a flight with a different crew will depart from Casablanca to Montreal on Saturday.
Air Canada's spokesperson, Christoph Heneibel, said: "We take this incident very seriously. It is under review, and we will take appropriate action. We apologize to our customers and regret that their experience today was far below what they expected when traveling with Air Canada."
Furthermore, Air Canada is offering compensation to the passengers for the delay and the incident.
