The Canadian Meteorological Service announced that Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are experiencing heavy snowfall, with snow accumulation reaching a rate of over 30 cm.

The data also indicated that this rate of snow accumulation prevails in many parts and areas of Nova Scotia in the central and eastern parts of the city, as well as on the eastern Prince Edward Island.

The Meteorological Service also reported that snowfall is expected to continue until next Monday, with snow amounts reaching 60 cm in some areas.

The Canadian Environment Agency warned road users and vehicle drivers of reduced visibility, especially during the early hours of the morning, as well as snow accumulation on the roads, and advises travelers to exercise caution if travel is necessary, as bad weather conditions prevail in scattered areas across Canada.
