Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid commented on the attack on the settlement of Katzrin in the occupied Golan Heights today, Wednesday, stating that "the government has lost the north".
Earlier, the official Hebrew radio reported the closure of several streets and road junctions in the Golan, noting damage to several buildings from rocket fire in the settlement of Katzrin in the Golan.
The Israeli ambulance service reported that a person was injured by shrapnel from a rocket in the settlement of Katzrin in the Golan, due to rockets fired from Lebanon, according to the news network "Al Jazeera".
On its part, Channel 12 in Israel reported that there was a direct hit on a home in the settlement of Katzrin in the occupied Golan due to rockets fired from Lebanon.
The Israeli army radio had stated that dozens of rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the Golan.
"Al Jazeera" reported the launch of more than 30 rockets from southern Lebanon towards the occupied Syrian Golan, noting the explosion of Israeli interceptor missiles in the skies over border villages in Lebanon.
