The police are searching for two suspects after setting fire to several vehicles in Vaughan last week, forcing the police to evacuate a house.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on February 22, in a residential lane near Hurontario Street and Bovaird Drive.

A video of the incident, published by the York Regional Police, shows individuals running toward a car before seeing a flash of bright light.

The individuals are then seen fleeing the area.

The video also shows the suspects fleeing the scene in a dark-colored four-door sedan.

In a press release issued on Thursday, the police said that fires had broken out in a 2020 model black Cadillac XT5 and a 2018 white Volkswagen Tiguan by the time officers arrived at the scene.

The police say officers had to evacuate residents through the backyard of the house.

The police said in a press release issued today, Tuesday: "While exiting, a 92-year-old man fell and was slightly injured."

"Investigators believe the fires were set deliberately."

No descriptions of the suspects have been provided.
