A man and a woman died as a result of a collision accident involving the UP Express train this evening in the western part of Toronto, according to paramedics.
The accident occurred near Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West.
The police said they were called to the area shortly after 10 PM to report a person hit by a train.
The officers found a second person, and the police announced the deaths of the two individuals at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Toronto Police said it is still in the early stages of investigating to determine how and why it happened
