Three people died last night, Sunday, in a collision on Highway 108 near Bury, in eastern Quebec.
Emergency services were summoned around 10:15 PM last night to report a collision between two vehicles.
Nicolas Scholtus, spokesperson for the Quebec Police (SQ), said, “For unknown reasons, a vehicle carrying two people heading east veered into the opposite lane, causing a head-on collision."
A 23-year-old female driver, a 24-year-old male passenger, and a 70-year-old male driver of the second vehicle were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and all three were later pronounced dead.

The Quebec Police have opened an investigation in collaboration with the Quebec Coroner's Office, and an investigator from the public security and police officers attended the scene to uncover the circumstances of this incident.
