One person was killed and two others were injured in a helicopter crash near the border between British Columbia and Alberta on Tuesday evening, according to the RCMP.
The authorities also stated that the private helicopter crashed around 7 PM, south of Invermere, near Brewer Creek, in the Columbia Valley area of British Columbia.
Search and rescue crews spread across the area and found the helicopter, and the pilot's death was announced.
The police confirmed that the surviving passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
