The round of 16 of the Canadian Men's Squash Championship kicks off today, Monday. Canada is hosting the tournament from March 3 to 7, with prize money reaching $78,000. The tournament witnessed the participation of 3 Egyptian players: Mazen Gamal, Youssef Suleiman, and Mazen Hesham.
The Professional Squash Association (PSA) announced the new rankings, and the Egyptian champion Ali Farag, a player of Wadi Degla, maintained his position at the top of the men's world rankings for the 39th consecutive week, and the 197th time in his career.
Nour El Sherbini, a player of Sporting, kept her position at the top of the women's rankings for the 26th consecutive week and the 236th time in her career, while Hania Hammami remained second, and Nouran Johar third. Nour El Tayeb advanced one place to settle in seventh place, while Amina Orfi dropped to 13th place.
