Canadian star Alphonso Davies, the left-back of Bayern Munich, commented on his country's qualification for the 2024 Copa America tournament and the anticipated match against Argentina.
The Canadian team had defeated Trinidad and Tobago 2-0 in the match held at the "Toyota" stadium in America.
Accordingly, the Canadian team qualified for the 2024 Copa America, scheduled to be held in the United States from June 20 to July 14, with the participation of 10 teams from South America and 6 from North America.
Alphonso Davies said in press statements to the media, "We are very happy to qualify for the 2024 Copa America. We must enjoy every match and hope to win the title in the end."
Regarding the anticipated match against Lionel Messi, Alphonso Davies said: "Definitely, it is wonderful. I am happy to play against the best player in the world."
He continued: "The entire Argentina team is very strong, and they succeeded in winning the 2022 World Cup, so it will definitely be a tough match."
