The Canadian government has expressed its deep concern regarding the escalation between Israel and "Hezbollah," urging Canadian citizens in Lebanon to leave the country immediately.
Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said, "We are very concerned about the escalation, and protecting civilians must be a priority."
She emphasized the importance of urgently alleviating tensions to avoid a devastating disaster.
Joly added that Canadian citizens and permanent residents in Lebanon should return home immediately, warning that the current time is not suitable for travel there. She noted that the security situation in the region is extremely volatile and could escalate without warning at any time.
