The leader of the Israeli state camp party, Benny Gantz, attacked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today, Tuesday, asserting that he is "dismantling the state."
The Israeli Army Radio quoted Gantz as saying, "Netanyahu wants to bring back the captives but is afraid to take political risks," emphasizing that "the enemies can see this."
He added that "Israel has witnessed a judicial coup that weakened the state, and Hamas has detected this weakness and acted accordingly," reminding that the events of October 7 occurred during Netanyahu's tenure.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant, the day before yesterday, called for a meeting with the families of the female soldiers held in Gaza with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before he travels to Washington to exert pressure on him.
During a meeting with the families of the female soldiers in Gaza, Galant said, "Reaching an agreement with Hamas through ongoing negotiations via intermediaries for a prisoner exchange and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is closer than ever."
