The Wildfire Service has stated that there are about 350 active wildfires across British Columbia, down from more than 400 last week, and nearly half of these fires are still out of control.
The service also mentioned that approximately 90% of the raging fires were started due to thunderstorms that swept through parts of the province in recent weeks.
The number of individuals fighting the fires has significantly doubled in the past two weeks to just over 1,500 people.
