The phenomenon of fake educational entities in Egypt has resurfaced, as one of these entities was caught in the Agouza area of Giza Governorate.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior stated that the General Administration for Combating Public Funds Crimes was able to apprehend an unlicensed educational entity that was defrauding citizens.

According to investigations, the accused managed the fictitious entity claiming to offer educational courses and bogus certificates that qualify participants to work in major companies and institutions. He demanded payment from those wishing to enroll in these courses in exchange for obtaining these certificates, while these courses and certificates had no actual value in the job market.

During the raid on the headquarters, police found blank academic certificates, in addition to promotional materials for the fictitious entity. The Ministry of Interior's press release confirmed that all legal actions have been taken against the accused, and he is currently being presented to the public prosecutor to initiate investigations.

This move comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to combat fraud and deception crimes aimed at exploiting citizens and draining their finances, especially in light of the lack of oversight in some educational fields.
