Lauren Simpson, a travel expert, told CTV Morning Live on Thursday that lower prices and less crowded airports are two advantages.

While prices have risen significantly, they should drop in the fall, with lower demand. She adds that many people are unable to travel in the fall - as teachers and children go back to school.

"So, for us, this actually lowers the price."

She emphasized that crowded airports in the summer can be a source of frustration for many travelers, so she suggests booking that trip shortly after the summer holidays, allowing you to enjoy "a more comfortable beach to lie on" and an easier experience at the airport.

Ireland

She is currently in Ireland. She says she bought a cottage there, pointing out the affordability and ease of access, while suggesting a place to visit this fall.

She added, "This is the time of year when we do an art trip, and a yoga retreat, because it’s really affordable for people. Flights are more reasonable." "I highly recommend it."

While talking about stormy beaches and hurricanes, she advises always purchasing travel insurance with your ticket.

She says Africa is a great place to go, especially at this time of year, mentioning safari trips and the chance to see wildlife.

She added, "There’s so much to see and it’s very affordable. I highly recommend visiting Tanzania."
