Celine Dion focuses on her family and the future as she continues to live with a health challenge.

The legendary artist celebrated International Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day on March 15th during an Instagram post, where she addressed her autoimmune disorder, saying it was "one of the hardest experiences of my life."

Dion added that she remains "determined to return to the stage and live life as normally as possible."

A picture of Dion and her three children – René-Charles and twins Nelson and Eddy – accompanied her heartfelt message.

Dion shares her three children with her late husband René Angélil, who passed away in 2016.

Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) is a rare neurological condition causing spasms and muscle stiffness, with increased sensitivity to stimuli such as sound, lights, and emotional distress that can trigger muscle spasms, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Dion first revealed her diagnosis in 2022. Since then, she has stopped touring and performing live.

An upcoming documentary series about the singer of "My Heart Will Go On" will be aired on Prime Video and will cover her journey to the stage.

On Friday, Dion sent encouragement and support through her post to all those suffering from SPS around the world, saying "I want you to know that you can do it! We can do it!".
