Toronto is experiencing a rise in temperatures leading up to the weekend on Sunday, April 28th.

The Canadian Environmental Agency stated that Toronto could see temperatures rise to 22 degrees Celsius next Sunday, which is about eight degrees warmer than the average temperature on April 28th.

Despite the warmth, it is unlikely that the high temperature during the day on Sunday will surpass the record temperature set in 1938, which was 28 degrees Celsius.

Toronto is experiencing sunshine today, Thursday, but the maximum temperature during the day will reach 9 degrees Celsius, which is about five degrees cooler than the average high recorded on April 25th.

Toronto is expected to have sunny skies and a seasonal high of 15 degrees Celsius tomorrow, Friday.

According to meteorologist Bill Coulter, while rain will impact your plans on Saturday, Sunday will mostly be dry.

Rain is expected early next week, but warm temperatures are expected to continue on Monday and Tuesday.

Environment Canada forecasts maximum temperatures to reach 23 degrees Celsius on Monday and 18 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
