Federal investigators are on their way to a helicopter crash site near the village of Sayward, British Columbia, a small village on northern Vancouver Island.
Meanwhile, the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) said in a brief statement Wednesday afternoon that a team of investigators was being deployed to the area "after a helicopter collided with the ground."
Explaining that the investigators "will collect information and assess the event."
There have been no reports so far of injuries or the number of people on board the helicopter.
