The American site "Business Insider" publishes a report containing data on employee salaries in some key positions at "Facebook".

American reports revealed today, Monday, shocking figures behind the salaries of employees at the social networking company "Facebook".

Business Insider obtained the salaries from thousands of work visa applications submitted by "Facebook" to the US government during the past year 2020, as companies are required to disclose salary information, although this information is limited and lacks executive salaries, and does not include company stock grants to employees, or the impact of experience in determining wages.

Basically, all key employees within "Facebook" earn a six-figure annual salary, but some jobs earn more than others.

Business Insider stated that the highest salaries for non-executive positions within "Facebook" are found in its core operations in the (engineering and marketing) departments.

The American site pointed out that while the founder of "Facebook", Mark Zuckerberg, receives the lowest salary of anyone in the company, which was set at only one dollar annually, he remains the richest person within its walls, explaining that his net worth in 2021 ballooned to reach 134 billion dollars.

"Facebook" Salaries

According to the site, the salary depends on the job, but it increasingly depends on the employee's place of residence as well. For example, a software engineer in New York City earns $160,000, while another in Rhode Island and another in Texas earn $118,000 annually.

A software engineer inside "Facebook" earns from $118,000 to $270,000 annually, which is the same range that a product manager receives, while a data engineer earns from $100,000 to $233,353 annually.

An electrical engineer at "Facebook" earns from $110,000 to $185,000, while an "optics scientist" earns annually from $130,000 to $188,000, a hardware engineer from $153,480 to $230,000, and a network engineer from $110,000 to $217,874.

As for what a "content strategist" at "Facebook" earns, it is $121,000 to $180,000 annually, while a "creative copywriter" earns $170,000, a public policy manager receives $262,000, and a "UX researcher" earns from $120,000 to $182,000 annually.
