18-year-old young man arrested after stabbing incident in Scarborough

The police arrested an 18-year-old young man, who is now in police custody. Another man is in the hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing incident in Scarborough, Toronto on Monday.

Officers were called to Steeles Avenue East and Ashcott Street just before 6 a.m. after reports of a stabbing in the area.

The police say a man was stabbed following a fight. He was taken to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
