A man known to the police was arrested on Wednesday for throwing stones at dozens of cars in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Sherbrooke police said they believe the 44-year-old suspect may be connected to more than 40 cases of cars being hit by stones since the beginning of February on Sainte Catherine road in the southwest part of the city.
The latest incident known to the police occurred last Monday at 9 pm, when a car window was shattered due to stones and the driver was unharmed.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday on charges of assault with a weapon and damaging a vehicle, according to police.
