American actor John Voight responded to his daughter, star Angelina Jolie, after her criticism of Israel and her talk about the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The actress and former United Nations Refugee Agency envoy wrote this week on the social media site "Instagram": "This is the deliberate bombing of trapped populations who have nowhere to flee. Gaza has been an open prison for nearly two decades, and now it is rapidly turning into a mass grave."

She continued, "40 percent of the dead are innocent children. Entire families are being killed, while the world watches, with active support from many governments, millions of Palestinian civilians - children, women, and families - are subjected to collective punishment and dehumanization, all while being deprived of food, medicine, and humanitarian aid in violation of international law."

Jolie concluded her statement saying: "By refusing to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and preventing the UN Security Council from imposing it on both sides, world leaders are complicit in these crimes."

John Voight said, in a video on his account on the "X" platform, formerly Twitter:

I feel deeply disappointed because my daughter, like many others, does not understand the glory of God.

This is about the destruction of the history of God's land, the holy land, the land of the Jews.

The Israeli army must protect the land of Israel and its people.

This is a war. It will not be as the left thinks, and it will not be cultural.

Israel has been attacked through inhuman terrorism, which targeted innocent children, mothers, fathers, and grandparents.

And you fools say Israel is the problem?

Hamas is responsible for the Palestinian situation in Gaza.. It received huge amounts of money which it did not share with the people, but used instead to make weapons.
