The actors Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are officially divorced, as the decision of a Los Angeles County judge to dissolve the marriage of the actors, who had been separated for years, took effect on Tuesday.
Bonet and Momoa were married for over seven years and had been together for 12 years before they married.
Bonet, whose legal name is Lilakoi Moon, filed for divorce in January. The documents listed the couple's separation date as October 7, 2020, more than three years ago. They announced their separation publicly in 2022.
The divorce was finalized as quickly as legally possible and came without dispute. Neither party will receive financial support, and they have agreed on how to divide their assets, sharing custody of their 16-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son.
Momoa, 44, is known for his roles in the films "Aquaman" and "Game of Thrones," while Bonet (56) is one of the stars of the series The Cosby Show, and its spin-off A Different World, as well as the film High Fidelity and Enemy of the State.
This was Momoa's first marriage, who revealed on social media that he is dating actress Edria Arjona, star of the film "Hit Man" and "Father of the Bride."
This is Bonet's second marriage, as she was previously married to rock singer Lenny Kravitz and has another daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz.
