U.S. President Joe Biden called for a "ceasefire" in the conflict in the Gaza Strip occupied by Israel "to release the prisoners".
A woman named Jessica Rosenberg, who introduced herself as a "rabbi," interrupted Biden and asked him to "call for a ceasefire" to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Biden then said, "I think we need a break." Asked what he meant by a "pause," Biden said, "The ceasefire means giving time for the prisoners to come out," referring to prisoners held by Hamas.
Rosenberg, who tried to rally the hall to silence her, said to Biden, "I would like you to answer my question."
Biden said, "This is a very complicated situation for the Israelis. I can completely understand the feelings of both the Palestinian and Jewish sides in this discussion."
