Former U.S. President Donald Trump described it as a "bloodbath" if he loses next November, during his election campaign in favor of Senate candidate Bernie Moreno in the state of Ohio.

Trump, who was speaking at a windy airport outside Dayton yesterday, Saturday, praised his chosen candidate in the race and described him as "America’s number one hero," according to the American network ABC News today, Sunday.

Trump said, days after securing enough delegates to win the 2024 Republican Party nomination, "He will be a warrior in Washington."

Trump also referred to the presidential election to be held next November, warning, "If I am not elected, it will be a bloodbath for everyone - that will be the least said in this regard."

Trump had reached the required number of delegates to secure the Republican Party nomination for the presidential election, according to a count conducted by the American networks CNN and NBC after his victory in the Washington state primaries.

Trump surpassed the mark of 1,215 required delegates and will likely compete against Democratic incumbent Joe Biden in the presidential election scheduled for November 5.

The last serious competitor to Trump, 77 years old, in the Republican primary race, former United Nations ambassador and South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, withdrew from the Republican primary campaign last week.
